Giving hope to farmers – education and revitalisation of agriculture in Haiti The beneficiaries of this project will be 400 farmers and their families, who live in the target localities, in particular the Southern Department of Haiti as well as the whole country sharing the indirect benefits resuling from this project. Generally, the project contributes to the enhancement of the food security through an optimised and sustainable agricultural production in the Southern Department of Haiti. At the end of this project, the farmers willbe encouraged to cultivate the land in a sustainable and efficient way; they will also be trained in theuse of tools and agricultural techniques, benefit from optimised harvests and will be able to feed theirr families and contribute to the economic development of their community.
