Programm

During the workshop, multidisciplinary teams work on specific problems (challenges) formulated by Austrian companies and non-governmental organisations (NGOs):

• Business models for local development of assistive technology for blind and visually handicapped people in Zimbabwe (Tetragon)
• Less plastic waste on the Manaslu trek in Nepal (Weltweitwandern)
• Land conflicts in Brazil: Documentation of violations (Welthaus Graz)
• Job opportunities for young people through plastic waste recycling in rural Ethiopia (Menschen für Menschen)
• Curriculum to promote entrepreneurship and environmental awareness in several African countries (SOS Kinderdorf International)

If you are interested, we warmly invite you to register as possible team members for a challenge. The teams for each challenge are put together in advance of the workshop, whereby we make sure that the expertise of the team members complements each other optimally. During the workshop, the teams will develop creative solutions to their challenge, using innovative co-creation methods. The online workshop will take place on 14 November 2023 (09:00 – 13:00).

As a follow-up to the workshop, we offer all teams the opportunity of a facilitated coaching session on 28 and 29 November 2023 to deepen the exchange and discuss a possible collaboration (one hour, online, see challenge description for dates).

The workshop will be facilitated by SHIFT11, a Viennese agency for customer-centred innovation and experience design.

We kindly ask you to register by 31 October 2023 via email to ilona.reindl@globaleverantwortung.at including the information in which Challenge you would like to participate. Participation is free of charge, but the number of participants per challenge is limited (max. 5 people). The team members will be selected by the organisers.
